if you download via torrent, you must have torrent software to download.

I have downloaded the standalone software n it works fine n loads up in my daw(reaper) just fine. However, m confused bout the sound library. Today i downloaded the sound9.obw file which is about 1.6gigs n loaded that sound file on superior. N it showed an error that the library needs an update. N i must go to the toontrack product manager to update. So, i downloaded the sound library updator. So, when i finish downloading the core sound library, do i have to update the Library to make it work??
Replyit seems the problem on the sound library that does not support for sdx 3 .. if you want basic sound library you can download part 1 (core basic sound library) only, approximately 35gb.
ReplyI haven't downloaded the entire basic library. I've only downloaded a sounds9,sounds17 n sounds21.obw till now. N i dont think that updating the libraries are mandatory cause i loaded metalheads on superior 3 n after loading metalheads the samples loaded just fine n everything was ok. I guess i will have to wait till i finish downloading the entire basic library

ReplyI'm trying to download all the files, so far I´ve downloaded the first 6 (top to bottom). The only thing I find strange is that I've already downloaded the core basic sound library, but it only comes with 2 sound files named "soundb1.obw" and "soundb9.obw". Is it suppose to be like that? I've already downloaded the Factory Software Room Mics 1 and it comes with "soundb.obw" files from 24-52, I hope it's all going well with my downloads, 'cause it's taking me ages, can you give me a little insight here?
Replyfor the basic library will have sound1.obw - sound23.obw, part 2 really has sound 24.obw - sound52.obw, just like a video folder. if you have incomplete sound.obw, check again when downloading. your fear is not right until it is finished or something is not checked.

Replyit doesn't matter if you don't use ezdrummer 2. It's just that people blame the groove that can't open. If you don't need a groove it doesn't matter without ezdrummer 2.

there should be no problem, because I can be used on sd2 or sd3. try to check again whether there is an error in extracting ISO files or the library retrieval from SD2 or SD3

Replythe description has been explained if midi groove is not found or has problems you can install ezdrummer 2 or midi pack.
ReplyBut if you install Superior Drummer version 3.1.5 it has a midi installation, so you only need to update to v3.1.5. SD3 v3.1.5 can be found on my website.

3- Drum Midi pack
Or are they already included? I want a clean install of Superior Drummer 3.1.7
I am confused, because on the download page for version 3.1.7, there are links to download Core, Mics and Bleeds only. Back to original version, there were ÉDrum midi pack and the Sound libraries to download too.
It is the most confusing to me...

@Dave: even if you only download the basic core library, it should work. if an error, there may be an error or corrupt download data.

Reply@jeruken: The sound library can be used on both mac and windows. At least you download the core library so that it can be used, and the rest can be paid in installments up to 5 download parts. Unfortunately Tutorial Add library has been removed by youtube due to a violation. Maybe you can search on other youtube channels for tutorials.
