Wilkinson Audio - DeBleeder v1.2

Remove drum bleed and leakage from close mics with an innovative new approach to leakage suppression. Remove far more bleed while maintaining vibe, feel and fidelity than ever before possible.

Bleeding (or "spill") is the natural tendency of a microphone placed next to, for example, a box drum, to pick up sounds from adjacent instruments such as the bass drum and the hat. The large amount of bleeding makes it difficult to adjust the tone and level of the individual drums, and a harsh and rough sound can be produced from the kit if you apply even moderate amounts of EQ. Adding some compression to the mix only makes this situation worse.

Bleeding can be mitigated by using directional microphones and placing each microphone to reject the spill. The problem is that the drum kits are very tight in a small footprint, so the placement of the microphone will never be a complete solution. Because of this, noise gates have long been a staple for mixers looking for a modern, processed and impactful drum tone.El Wilkinson DeBleeder es esencialmente una compuerta de ruido con características mejoradas, diseñada para un solo propósito: eliminar el sangrado de las pistas de percusión.
